Played the update! Nice work. Like the more closed-in, dark feel, nice reflections on the floor, level does feel less byzantine. I definitely found the monster this time, but they seemed unable to kill me and actually ran away from me a few times :D This might have been much more entertaining than intended. Nevertheless, good progress, love to see it!
well yeah! I have less time to work on it since I didn’t plan out some models for level 3 and the lack of motivation just threw me off :( I’ll be back on the game soon
this game is becoming better and better day by day. no seriously, i might need to change Level 1 because i think it's WAY TOO BIG for what i wanted to make so in the next update you'll see a massive change in level 1. also it's gonna be a puzzle part :)
Also, I just saw a video of another gamer reacting to the video that I *think* is source material for this game, and they kept saying “oh man oh man this should be a horror game” and I wanted to yell IT IS!!!! 😂
No worries! The next final update will make the demo look way better than it is now! Im actively making changes and finding new ways to improve on the game.
I really needed more sound design. Footsteps, monster noises, ambient droaning of the damned. Does death count as one of the endings? Because I got that twice!
This was the first game I played in this video. I can't wait to see what more this evolves into. Right now, it's a pretty short, sweet and to the point maze game with a Backrooms twist on it, which I enjoy. The creature scared me to death at first and I love how pursuing it is! Worth the play for any Backrooms fanatic!
